Located in Bawtry, a small market town based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire; Colemans is one of a number of restaurants that sit on Bawtry's high street serving an adventurous array of pizzas and steaks. The restaurant offers a relatively small, personal dining experience with a limited number of tables available meaning the restaurant is never too busy at any one time. The open kitchen means you can see the chefs hard at work as they prepare your food and leaves you on the edge of your seat hoping that the next dish that sits on the hot plate is coming to your table next. The service couldn't be faulted from the point of booking through till paying the bill. The staff were attentive, professional, and checked on us numerous times throughout the night to see if they could do anything for us. The experience doesn't stop there. Coleman's shares the building with 'Bawtry's Bar & Brasserie; a vibrant bar in Bawtry that hosts live music and excellent drinks throughout Friday and Saturday evenings. So, after you've finished your meal you can head through to 'Bawtry's Bar' and finish your evening with wonderful drinks to see the night through till the end. All in all, I would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant and this town. It has all the ingredients for a fantastic evening of food and entertainment with good company.

For The Love Of Food Recommendations:
The Nachos for a starter are a must have! Beautifully homemade nachos served with sour cream and salsa on the side and a choice to add either chicken, pulled pork or beef chilli. I tried the beef chilli and the starter as a whole was delicious. Very generous portion size for a starter and its perfect to share between two or three people comfortably. As for the mains, we ordered the Halloumi Burger (V) and the BBQ Chicken Pizza. The halloumi burger was made up of a large piece of halloumi coated in a herb crumb and was incredibly tasty; served alongside homemade chips, salad and coleslaw. I would definitely recommend to try this as it is a relatively new and different way of serving halloumi. The BBQ Chicken pizza was cooked perfectly, the dough was thin and crispy with a BBQ sauce covering. The chicken was very flavoursome and was complimented excellently by the onions and chillis to pack that little bit of heat to the meal.
